Purchase MacTarot through Gumroad. After payment, download and open the ZIP file, then drag the MacTarot application into your Applications folder. Installation instructions are included. The app supports Intel and Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.
Is this a subscription?
No. MacTarot is a one-time purchase. This version does not need an activation key, and your readings work offline without an app account.
Does MacTarot need an internet connection?
No. The decks, meanings and optional sounds are bundled with the app. Reading works offline and you don’t need an account.
Can I create my own spreads?
Yes. Create a spread with 1–22 positions, arrange the cards and add position names and meanings. Save & Deal keeps the template for future readings.
Can I save and revisit my readings?
Yes. MacTarot keeps a local saved reading library, including card positions, orientations, reveals, your question and reflections.
Can I print or export a reading?
Yes. Open a PDF snapshot or use File → Print. The native print dialog’s PDF menu lets you save a copy, with long notes continuing across pages.
